How we transformed an event-focused webpage into a fully integrated platform that doubled membership and positioned DANAI as the national authority for aesthetic nursing.

Elevating Aesthetic Nursing Advocacy and Standards Across Ireland
The Dermatology Aesthetic Nurses Association Ireland (DANAI) needed to move beyond a website that focused mainly on events. With over 20 years representing NMBI-registered nurses, the association wanted an online presence that clearly communicated the full value of membership, including education, lobbying, clinical leadership and patient safety support.
As specialists in websites for the aesthetic medical sector, we brought an existing understanding of NMBI guidelines, nursing scope of practice and the aesthetic business model. Over several months, we worked closely with the board to establish a clear strategy. The new platform includes integrated membership sales and event management, along with an educational blog featuring Key Opinion Leaders and nurse success stories. All content is professional, fully compliant and designed to support the association's growth.
The impact has been significant. Since launching in February 2024, membership has more than doubled, and DANAI is now firmly established as Ireland's leading educational and professional body for aesthetic nursing. Chairperson Christina O'Rourke credited our industry expertise, attendance at DANAI events and proactive guidance for making the transition seamless. The project demonstrates the value of partnering with an agency that understands both board governance and the specific demands of the aesthetic medical industry.
